A sewer pipe project will close Palmer Avenue between Park Avenue and Alabama Drive during overnight hours from Tuesday, May 30, through Friday, June 16.
According to a City of Winter Park news release, Atlantic Pipe Services will be reinforcing the city’s sanitary sewer system with a lining to strengthen and prevent leaks in the underground pipes. The nightly street closures on Palmer Avenue will run from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Detours will be clearly marked, driveways and sidewalks may be briefly blocked during road closure hours. Residents are asked to allow additional travel time along this route during the closure period.
