The City of Winter Park is hosting its Annual Spring Cleanup event for residents to dispose of bulky items they no longer use. Residents can utilize the extra pickup day to discard large items including old furniture and damaged appliances.
To participate, the disposable items must be placed curbside after 5 p.m. on the evening before the assigned pickup dates:
- North of Fairbanks/Aloma avenues – Thursday, May 5, or Friday, May 6
- South of Fairbanks/Aloma avenues – Thursday, May 12, or Friday, May 13
Apartment, townhome, or condominium occupants without curbside service can contact Waste Pro directly at 407-774-0800 for large-item pickup.
Yard waste and household hazardous waste are not included in the Spring Cleanup. Instead, Winter Park will host a Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off event on Saturday, April 23 from 8 a.m. to noon.
