City Asks for Public Input on Phelps Park Playground Renovation

The Phelps Park Playground, located at 1200 N. Phelps Avenue, is ready for a refresh after over three decades of use by local kids and their families. The City of Winter Park plans to remove the current playground structure and install a new one this fall. There are six design proposals for the new playground and the City of Winter Park Parks & Recreation Department is asking for public input from local residents to help narrow down and select one of the options.

Two companies that specialize in playground design and equipment, Kompan and Top Line Recreation, have produced three configurations each for consideration. Residents can find the details of each proposed design and view renderings on the City of Winter Park website.

Residents are welcome to vote here and asked to only submit one vote per individual. Voting closes on August 28.
