Winter Park’s Dinner on the Avenue will return to the downtown area this weekend. Residents are advised that the event will prompt multiple road closures on Saturday, April 2.
Festive table arrangements, designed by guests competing for awards, will line Park Avenue for a dinner under the stars from 6 to 10 p.m. The following road closures are scheduled for Saturday, from 2 p.m. to midnight:
- East Welbourne Avenue: between Center Street and South Park Avenue
- Morse Boulevard: between South Knowles and South New York avenues
- Park Avenue: between Morse Boulevard and New England Avenue
The event, now entering its 19th year, will benefit local organizations including Winter Park’s new Splash, Float, Swim program – a collaborative initiative between the City of Winter Park, Winter Park YMCA/YMCA of Central Florida, and Orange County Public Schools.
