The City of Winter Park has announced the cancellation of one day of the 20th Annual Unity Heritage Festival at Shady Park in Hannibal Square. Originally scheduled for January 16 and 17, the event will now only take place on Monday the 17th, due to inclement weather expected on Sunday the 16th.

According to the City, the event will begin with the Ministerial Fellowship Program at 11 a.m. and remarks by Mayor Phil Anderson at noon. Events and activities will continue throughout the day, including music by Beautiful Bobby Blackman and Jabari Clay. The city’s Urban Forestry Division will provide information about the Arbor Day Foundation’s Community Canopy initiative, assisting private residents in making improvements to their property’s tree canopy.
