City of Winter Park Launches ‘Meet Your Departments’ Video Series

The City of Winter Park is launching a new video series this month called “Meet Your Departments” with aims to increase local awareness of various jobs, duties, and services the City provides. Each month, locals will have the opportunity to get to know members of these departments and learn more about the advisory boards they serve.

In its press release, the City stated that approximately 500 people make up the City’s office, working hard to make “every day exceptional for [Winter Park] residents, businesses, and guests.” According to City Manager Randy Knight, the new video series will “offer a fun and personal perspective of how our city functions and the great team behind it.”

This month, the City will kick off its video series with a feature on its Parks & Recreation Department, which manages 57 parks and maintains 402.43 acres of land throughout Winter Park. Locals are invited to watch the City’s video to see how the Parks & Recreation Department provides and maintains its parks, recreational facilities, activities, and services.

Presented by Director Jason Seeley, the “Meet Your Departments” videos can be accessed on Vimeo and the City’s YouTube channel. Each month will feature a different city department according to the schedule below:
