Every year, the City of Winter Park organizes an Annual Spring Cleanup event for residents to dispose of large items they no longer need. The annual event will provide a scheduled curbside pickup service for bulky items including old furniture and broken appliances.
To participate, residents must place their items curbside after 5 p.m. the day prior to the assigned pickup dates listed below:
- North of Fairbanks/Aloma Avenues – Thursday, May 6, or Friday, May 7
- South of Fairbanks/Aloma Avenues – Thursday, May 13, or Friday, May 14
Residents who live in an apartment, townhome, or condo without curbside service can contact WastePro directly to schedule a large item pickup at 407-774-0800.
Household hazardous waste and yard waste will not be included in the cleanup, however citizens can find more information on the City’s upcoming Hazardous Waste Dropoff event on Saturday, May 22, from 8 a.m. to noon here.
