On July 16, Kenneth Carl Wright, a Winter Park attorney, was arrested and charged for aggravated stalking of minors under the age of 16 and contribution to the delinquency of minors on Park Avenue.

Wright, age 63, initially approached the victims, two juveniles, at the Panera Bread restaurant on Park Avenue where he “hit on them” according to the Winter Park Police Department. The minors left the establishment due to fear for their safety and made their way towards the nearby Starbucks. The victims reported that Wright followed them to the café where he offered them what looked like CBD oil and gave them his business card. The minors refused the CBD oil and were eventually picked up by a friend and able to leave the area safely.

According The Florida Bar, Wright is eligible to practice law in Florida and is considered a member in good standing. The Orlando Sentinel reports that he was booked into Orange County Jail with a bond amount set at $16,000.

Earlier this year on March 10, Wright was charged with two first degree misdemeanors: trespassing (refusal to leave) and resisting an officer without violence at Brooks Brothers clothing store at the Mall at Millenia.
