Winter Park City Commission Agrees to Adjust Meeting Days

During Monday’s meeting, the City Commission agreed to move its meetings  to the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month, effective July 8, 2020. The meetings have taken place on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 3:30 p.m. since 2003. Under the new schedule, the meetings will continue to take place at 3:30 p.m.

According to minutes from Monday’s meeting, the suggestion to move the meetings to Wednesdays was made to better accommodate weekend travel schedules and to “allow time after the weekend to get answers to questions prior to a commission meeting.”

The average duration of meetings in the last 12 months has been four hours and seven minutes long.
