City of Winter Park Installs Free Wi-Fi in its Downtown Business District

The City of Winter Park partnered with local internet provider, Frog, to deliver free, public Wi-Fi in and around the city’s downtown area for residents and guests to enjoy. This service is already available in Central Park and will be active in Shady Park by end of next week.

Funding for this project was sourced from the Community Redevelopment Agency, which works to “improve the residential viability and livability” in Winter Park.

For access, users can either search for the network name “City of Winter Park Wi-Fi by Frog” in their Wi-Fi access settings or scan a QR code shown below. The QR code is also temporarily available on yard signs posted throughout the park and permanently posted on the digital kiosks in and around the park.
