Winter Park Village will soon welcome a new healthcare tenant as AdventHealth is leasing space in the Viscaya office building at 1030 W. Canton Ave.
According to CASTO Southeast president, Brett Hutchens, the Altamonte Springs-based healthcare system will occupy a 9,800 square-foot space in the two-story facility. Viscaya already houses offices for Ruth’s Hospitality Group, Scearce, Satcher & Jung, P.A., Hall, Schieffelin & Smith, P.A., The Closing Agent title insurance company, and the Winter Park Village leasing office.
Hutchens announced, in August, that Florida Cancer Specialists signed a deal to lease the 37,000-square-foot second-floor office space, previously occupied by Bonnier Corporation at 460 N. Orlando Ave., Ste 200. AdventHealth is the latest tenant to be confirmed as an extensive overhaul to the retail center is in progress with more announcements forthcoming.
“A pleasant surprise to us was the demand for office space,” Hutchens said. “We have 25,000 square-feet of office space left, and we’re in discussions with three or four prospective tenants.”
A representative from AdventHealth confirmed the space will be used for medical offices. No other information is available at this time.
Columbus, Ohio-based property owner CASTO was behind the development of Winter Park Village from the former Winter Park Mall in 1999, as well as the current improvement project. Upgrades will include new building facades, street features, and expanded areas for outdoor gatherings and events.
