Beginning tomorrow, October 7, the City of Winter Park and the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce will begin co-hosting a weekly event dubbed West Meadow Wednesdays. The event will be held every Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the West Meadow, located between Central Park and the U.S. Post Office at the corner of New York and Morse Avenues.
Each installment of the event will focus on a theme and include activities tailored to that specific evening. To kick off the recurring event, the October 7 theme will be “Thrive Winter Park” and will feature live music, an Autumn Art Festival poster signing with local artist Heidi Lifrage, a beer garden by the Bear and Peacock Brewing Company, Portraits in the Park by Jen Adams Photo, a live outdoor barre3 fitness class, and more.
Future themes include “Yappy Hour” on October 14, which will include a “Doggy Fashion Show” and pet-friendly Instagram photo spot, an October 28 Halloween “Masks On” Parade, and more. For further details and planned themes, including pre-registration instructions for certain activities, visit the West Meadow Wednesdays Facebook event page.
