News broke last year that Florida Cancer Specialists will move into the 37,000-square-foot second-floor office space previously leased by Bonnier Corporation at 460 N. Orlando Ave., Ste 200. And the32789 previously reported that Advent Health will occupy a 9,800 square-foot space in the two-story Viscaya office building at 1030 W. Canton Ave. Casto has revealed that the space will house an Advent Health Well 65+ facility.
According to the tenant announcement, Ruth’s Chris Steak House will also reimagine its culinary experience at the Winter Park Village complex with a new flagship restaurant.
“The retail landscape has changed so much over the last eight to 10 years, the entire complex requires an update to remain relevant,” Brett Hutchens, president of CASTO Southeast, told the32789. Hutchens also helped to oversee the 1999 conversion of the Winter Park Mall to the current Winter Park Village design.
Upgrades include a revised entry road with pedestrian-friendly designs, enhanced outdoor spaces, additional patio space for restaurants and retailers, and the addition of murals and other artistic features. Construction began earlier this month and Hutchens estimates the entire project will take 15 months to complete.
“It’s gratifying to see the vision for the Winter Park Village revival becoming reality,” said Alexie Fonseca, Managing Director of Retail Services for Colliers International, in a prepared statement. “We’ve worked hard to curate an eclectic and high-end collection of retailers and restaurants to satisfy the most discerning clientele.”
According to CASTO Southeast and Colliers International, more tenant leases are in the works and will be announced in the near future.
