As the multimillion dollar renovation of Winter Park Village continues toward a fourth-quarter completion, a new tenant will benefit local nonprofits during its opening weekend.
Lifestyle & jewelry company Kendra Scott will make its Winter Park debut with a 1,900-square-foot storefront, located on the Winter Park Village Main Street access road. In addition to showcasing current collections, the shop will offer customers a chance to create customized jewelry in minutes with the Color Bar interactive experience.
The location will donate 20% of its sales during five opening weekend events, each focusing on a different nonprofit. The events will also feature complimentary refreshments, and exclusive gifts will be available with purchase.
The first will take place on Friday, July 21, from 5-7 p.m. with event partner, Heart of Florida United Way, Women United. Among the organization’s goals are economic stability for women, improving children’s lives, and empowering the next generation of leaders. Click here to RSVP.
Saturday and Sunday schedules are as follows:
Saturday, July 22: From 1-3 p.m., Kendra Scott will parter with local parenting resource Orlando Mom Collective to benefit Tech Sassy Girlz. The program provides girls in grades 6-12 with access to STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) through college preparation, career readiness and mentoring, and hands-on learning experiences. From 5-7 p.m., the focus will be on Junior League of Greater Orlando and its mission of advancing women’s leadership through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Click here to RSVP
