Wild Fork Foods, a Miami-based meat and seafood market, is opening shop on the corner of Fairbanks and Orlando Avenues in Winter Park. The new market is currently being renovated and will occupy the former Mattress One building at 625 S. Orlando Avenue. The market will offer more than 500 products including unique recipes and a variety of meat, poultry, and seafood selections.
Wild Fork Foods offers consumers a “farm to fork” experience by removing the middleman to receive its products directly from the source. Using a technique Wild Fork called ‘blast freezing,’ the meat is preserved at frozen temperatures until purchased. The company promises great quality, a variety of options, and will offer same-day delivery and in-store pickup once opened.
An opening date has not yet been announced for the Winter Park location. However, another Wild Fork Foods store is expected to open this month at 7585 W. Sand Lake Road in Dr. Phillips. Wild Fork Foods currently has eight other locations throughout Florida.
