The vacant Steak ‘n Shake location at 818 S. Orlando Avenue has landed a new tenant and will soon house Central Florida’s newest Chicken Guy! location. The eatery, a collaboration between celebrity chef Guy Fieri and restaurant group Earl Enterprises, is best known for its chicken tenders, sandwiches, and 22 sauces inspired by Fieri’s signature flavors.
Chicken Guy! offers varying menus at each of its locations, so the Winter Park menu may differ from the original Central Florida location at Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs. Some unique offerings from the Disney Springs location include a signature sandwich with two fried chicken tenders, pepper jack, bourbon brown sugar BBQ sauce, slaw, pickles and BBQ kettle chips. Other menu items include sides of loaded fries and mac ‘n’ cheese, and a variety of sweets like the Apple Cinnamon Cereal shake with hand-spun vanilla soft serve, Cinnamon Toast Crunch©, and Apple Jacks© cereal topped with whipped cream.
The 3,500-square-foot Orlando Avenue location will feature a drive-thru and seat 92 guests between indoor and outdoor seating. Third party delivery services and online orders will also be accommodated at the location.
The Winter Park location is projected to open later this summer, although no official date has been announced.
