Dr. Anne B. Kerr

She was named assistant vice president for development in 1995, and in 1998 was appointed vice president for institutional advancement. In that role, Kerr led a capital campaign that raised $160 million – exceeding its goal by $60 million. She was also a founding member of the Rollins College Center for Philanthropy and Non-Profit Leadership.

Kerr’s accomplishments at Florida Southern College include the addition of 22 new buildings, the expansion of 20 existing facilities, and the restoration of several Frank Lloyd Wright buildings which the college is known for. Kerr also oversaw the creation of The Barney Barnett School of Business and Free Enterprise in 2011, a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree program in 2019, and the opening of the Ann Blanton Edwards School of Nursing in 2021.

In her new role at Institutional Knowledge, Dr. Kerr will leverage her experience to create impactful branding solutions for colleges and universities. “Dr. Kerr’s impact on higher education has been remarkable,” said Findsome & Winmore CEO Matt Certo. “She has led with vision, integrity, and a deep commitment to institutional excellence. With her insight and passion, we are poised to continue driving forward our mission to strengthen society through a thriving higher education sector.”

In addition to her experience at educational institutions, Kerr has served as an educational analyst for the Office of the Board of Regents for the State of Florida. Her community involvement includes board seats with Orlando Economics Club, United Arts, Leadership Orlando, American Heart Association, and the Junior League of Orlando.

“I have dedicated my life to advancing the field of higher education and I am thrilled to bring my experience to Institutional Knowledge,” she said. “I am deeply committed to contributing to the future of higher education, ensuring it remains a cornerstone of societal progress.”
