The community is invited to experience the business support facilities at Winter Park Library during the Library Launchpad! happening Monday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the library’s Edyth Bush Theater.
According to Winter Park Library Director of Community Engagement Jody Lazar, providing necessary resources to entrepreneurs has always been part of the library’s mission.
“We present these resources each month to new members of the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce and invite Winter Park businesses to take advantage of them,” she told the32789.
Tours of the facilities and technology will include:
- Public computers and laptop lending
- Scanning, mobile printing and faxing
- Makerspaces
- Collaboration rooms
“We have helped podcasters, audiobook narrators, and musicians who use our recording studio,” said Lazar. “Entrepreneurs can use our collaboration rooms to brainstorm and develop products and services, and library users can research viable markets, demographics, and competitors using our premium online resources and free public computers.”
