Seven-time NBA All-Star and Olympic gold medalist Grant Hill will be speaking at the Center for Health & Wellbeing in Winter Park on Tuesday, June 14 at 6 p.m.
Presented by Writer’s Block Bookstore, An Evening with Grant Hill: The Game Tour, is part of a series of national engagements in support of his autobiography, Game, and will be moderated by WESH-Channel 2 sportscaster Kendra Douglas.
Hill’s 19 seasons as an NBA player are part of a personal story that broadened after a series of injuries changed his perspective on life. His post-NBA career includes forming the private investment firm Penta Mezzanine Fund, which provides growth capital solutions to lower-middle-market companies. He also sponsored a tour of his personal collection of African American art to showcase the success of African Americans outside the sports and entertainment industries.
Writer’s Block Bookstore will be donating all event proceeds to Winter Park Institute, and to support scholarships for Central Florida youth basketball programs. Click here for tickets and information.
