Coming soon to Winter Park, Bitebound will offer healthy, fast, low-cost meals in a 2,300-square-foot space at City Place, the recently constructed 7,000-square-foot shopping center located at 1100 S. Orlando Ave. Locals can expect a variety of healthy, family-friendly food bowl options at Bitebound, which prepares orders for its on-the-go customers to pick up.
Owners of Bitebound, sister duo Beatriz and Daniela Oruna, plan to open the doors to their new concept sometime this December. According to a recent article, the idea for Bitebound was developed when the working moms were struggling to find a fast and healthy option to feed their families on the go.
During the summer of 2019, the City Place property was purchased for $3 million with plans to maintain the building’s historic look while giving it a modern facelift. In February, the shopping center announced its first two businesses to sign leases: Cafe Don Juan, an authentic Latin coffee chain, and Tune Up salon, a men’s hair salon. However, 1,412 square-feet of retail space remains available for lease in City Place.
“The location is hard to beat,” said Lamont Garber, owner and president of Garber Development.
The Bitebound website is currently undergoing construction, however, the new concept recently created an Instagram account for locals to follow in anticipation of its December opening.
