According to Scott Hillman, president and broker of Fannie Hillman + Associates, there is a myth that there is “no inventory” in the current market, but in truth, sales show that there is no significant lack of inventory. The reason “current inventory” appears quite low at the present time is due to the fact that properties are going under contract at a pace that has not been seen before even at the height of the market in 2005-2006.
