The Bach Festival Society quickly sold out its Spirit of the Season event, previously announced for Sunday, December 13 at 3 p.m. To accommodate the demand for tickets, the 3 p.m. performance has been pushed to 4 p.m. and will be preceded by an additional performance scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
Rollins College ensemble-in-residence and renowned vocal group, Voctave, will be accompanying the Bach Festival Orchestra, conducted by John V. Sinclair. The group will present its performance debut of its newly released Christmas album, “Voctave Symphony Series: Christmas Edition,” which has quickly scaled in popularity among fans of the genre.
The performances will take place at the Central Park West Meadow. Those who wish to attend the recently added 1:30 p.m. show can purchase tickets for tables seating up to four guests starting at $75 per chair, standalone chairs for $50, or the “bring your own seating” option for $25 per person. The 4:00 p.m. performance is nearly sold out, but a limited selection of tickets have been added and are still available. Visit BachFestivalFlorida.org or call 407-646-2182 to purchase tickets online up to two hours before the performance. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the event if not sold out.
