Winter Park Public Library Celebrates Conclusion of Summer Reading Program

On Sunday, August 2 from 2-3 p.m., Winter Park Public Library will host a “Storybook Ending” drive-by parade in celebration of the end of its Summer Reading Challenge. The socially-distanced drive-by parade will feature fictional characters, such as Llama Llama, Wild Thing, Harry Potter, Fawkes, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Aurora, Tiana, Belle and more. The parade will also feature live music and goody bags for children of all ages while supplies last. The summer reading challenge started on June 1 and runs through July 31. Nearly 500 readers signed up for the challenge this year.
