The Alfond Inn at Rollins was ranked second in Travel + Leisure’s 2021 list of top resort hotels in Florida. The list is comprised of the highest-scoring resorts from the publication’s annual World’s Best Awards survey in which Travel + Leisure readers rate destinations around the world based on their travel experiences.
Scores out of 100 were given based on several categories: facilities, location, services, food, and overall value. The Alfond Inn earned a 95.40 rating.
An expansion project is currently underway at the hotel and is expected to conclude in the summer of 2023. Located in the heart of historic Winter Park, the award-winning boutique hotel will soon gain a communal café, wellness spa, and second pool along with 71 new luxury guest rooms, an additional 2,400 square feet of meeting and event space, and an expansion of The Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art.
Owned by Rollins College, The Alfond Inn contributes all its net operating income to The Alfond Scholar Program, which has granted millions of dollars in scholarships to students since 2013.
