On Sunday, April 25, the Winter Park Golf Course (WPGC) is kicking off a week-long event, which will last through Saturday, May 1, in celebration of Golf Week. The event will be held in support of The First Tee of Central Florida, an organization that provides educational, character-building programs to young people in Central Florida through the game of golf.

WPGC Golf Pro Shop and Country Club manager, Gregg Pascale, has been working at the course as the Recreation Superintendent of Golf Programming for nearly five years. “Just being able to have this type of event is special considering the past year,” Pascale said. “But helping a wonderful organization like The First Tee while celebrating golf and this wonderful course, and the original task force/advisory board that championed the renovation project, is also very special.”

Leading the charge, Pascale will be supervising all of the events during the Golf Week celebration, which includes the City Amateur Golf Tournament. “Being part of all of the wonderful things that Park Avenue offers to residents and visitors, while being surrounded by some of the area’s most beautiful homes, is what makes our location special and unique.”

The City of Winter Park recently announced the event’s program and list of activities:

Sunday, April 25

Monday, April 26

Tuesday, April 27

Wednesday, April 28

Thursday, April 29

Friday, April 30
