Previously occupied by the International Diamond Center, 552 S. Park Avenue has finally found a new tenant, according to a recent Orlando Business Journal article. Operating as Rockstar Coffee, Rockstar Franchise Holdings LLC has officially signed a lease for the space, which has sat vacant on the corner of Fairbanks and Park Avenues for over two years, according to property owner, Maged Salem of Mennello Properties.
The location’s highly visible corner lot, proximity to Rollins College, and dedicated parking spaces could set Rockstar Coffee apart from competing coffee shops on and near Park Avenue such as Starbucks, Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co., and New General.
Although a signed lease has been confirmed, plans for the new business have not yet been presented to the City of Winter Park and details regarding an opening date are still unknown.
