Preliminary site work is underway for a 40,000-square-foot home on the shore of Lake Osceola. The home is being built by Marc Hagle, president and CEO of Tricor International, LLC, and his wife Sharon. It will be the largest in Winter Park and one of the largest in the country.

The plans were approved by the Winter Park Planning and Zoning Board in January of this year and a permit was issued on September 30 for work including site clearance, excavation, dewatering, waterproofing, and laying the foundation on the currently vacant land. According to the Orange County Property Appraiser, the property, located at 916 Palmer Avenue, totals 5.06 acres and was purchased by the Hagles for $3.65 million in August 2017.

Renderings of the home illustrate a two-story residence with a basement level, luxury pool, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake, a large elevated outdoor living space, and several balconies. The project’s team includes Maitland-based architect Charlan Brock Architects and landscape architecture firm Dix.Hite + Partners.

The project is expected to be complete by December 2022.
